How do we do it?
We actively seek the resolution of your debt through applicable law.

You have the right to debt validation.
Under the FDCPA, you have the right to “debt validation”. This means a consumer can demand that a creditor reporting information to the credit bureaus prove the account is really your responsibility and that the balances are accurate. Also, a debt collector must also prove they have a legal right to collect the debt.

What is debt validation?
Once your validation letter is received, the debt collector must stop all collection activity, including reporting and verifying, until they supply proper validation of the debt. Requesting validation comes with a variety of benefits and can hopefully lead to getting the collection completely dismissed. Often, a debt collector may not have the appropriate records it needs to collect the debt from you legally. If you fail to validate, you run the risk of paying a debt that you don’t actually owe, or even paying someone who shouldn’t be taking your money. It’s a safe way for any consumer to protect themselves from countless scammers and unscrupulous collection agencies.

Statutes of Limitation.
Debt collectors are well known for the way they do business. They’re much more concerned with getting paid than with how they go about collecting the debt. As long as they can get a consumer to pay the debt that is owed they care little about consumer’s rights or even whether they are hounding the right person. It is up to consumers themselves to be informed on state law that deals with debt collection.
Your Legal Rights
For these reasons, the FDCPA entitles you as a consumer to validate a debt when a debt collector demands money from you.
If they can’t validate the debt, the credit bureau cannot list it as a negative mark on your credit report. With debt validation, you’re requesting that the debt collector proves they have the legal right to collect the money.
It also confirms that you agreed to pay the debt, and the amount owed is accurate. Any debt collector that refuses to follow these steps can be reported to both state and federal officials for violating the law.
How can I stop a payday lender from electronically taking money out of my bank or credit union account?
You can stop electronic debits to your account by revoking the payment authorization, sometimes called an “ACH authorization”.
